• Fun Day Friday

• KS1 Rainbows

  KS1 children from Severn, Meadow and Porthill have been busy creating rainbows! Each child will bring their rainbow home and ask if they can put it in their front window. We hope this will bring some happiness and make people smile as they go past. 

  

• BEAM closure 17.3.20

  BEAM have advised that they will be closed today, 17th March, due to the latest COVID-19 guidance, workshops will be rescheduled. When we receive an update from them we will let everyone know.

• U9 Montford MUGA Tournament

  Well done to our U9 boys and girls football team who took part in the Montford MUGA tournament on Friday against Radbrook and Greenfields. All children were fantastic and represented our school extremely well.

  The girls showed great teamwork and some fantastic football. Finally an extra well done to our boys who won their tournament! An excellent all round performance!

  

• Hot Chocolate Friday

  After another busy week it is time for Hot Chocolate Friday! One child from each class has been chosen for going above and beyond this week, some of the reasons are:

  "For always listening well and following instructions beautifully."

  "For always having such an enthusiastic, positive attitude towards learning and school life."

  "For a fantastic Science borrow bag and sharing his knowledge with the class."

  "For super fluency in Maths and showing a determined attitude to complete challenges."

  "For being much more focused this week when completing his SATs."

• Year 5 Big Sing

  The year 5 children who took part in 'The Big Sing' yesterday at Telford International Centre had a fantastic time, they sang brilliantly and were very well behaved.

  

• Easter Art

  We are holding an Easter Art competition, children can enter anything that they've made that has an Easter theme - artwork, a decorated egg, an Easter bonnet - let their creativity run wild!

  We will be accepting entries between Monday 23rd March and Friday 27th March, children can bring their artwork into class, along with their £1 entry fee. 

  There will be a prize for each class (including Nursery) for the best entry.

• KS1 PIE

  A fantastic parent information event this morning in KS1 focusing on Maths and end of KS1 assessment. Thank you to all who came children really enjoyed completing Maths activities with you. 

  The PowerPoint will be shared on class pages. Any feedback is welcome and any questions please do not hesitate to speak to your child’s class teacher.

  

• County Schools Cross Country Competition

  Congratulations to Louis Roberts for representing Shrewsbury in the County Cross Country competition at the Sports Village.  The team placed 2nd overall in the Year 6 boys race.
