Phonics - we had challenges today to see who could build the largest block tower and which team could score the most in a game of bowling.

Forest School - We read the lovely story ‘The Invisible String’ and went on a hunt for string.

Phonics Games
This week we started some under the sea art, we will continue this next week. We created a turtle collage and mixed different shades of blue to create our own sea.
In maths this week we have been looking at place value and using our knowledge of tens and ones to compare numbers.
In PE we have been focusing on moving in different ways and ball skills
We enjoyed joining the Duchess of Cambridge’s assembly about kindness
We have had a wonderful first week back at school. The children have had lots of fun and have been a delight to teach.
