Our meals are produced by Shire Services (0845 6789000).  Meals are cooked on the premises and children are offered a choice of main course and dessert.  As a school that has been accredited for ‘healthy eating’ we work hard to ensure that our supplier provides meals that are nutritious as well as tasty.  Throughout the year there are open lunch days when parents can come into school to enjoy a meal with their children.

Children’s meals cost £2.30 for KS2. Pupils in Reception and KS1 now receive free meals as part of a government initiative. Adult meals cost £3.35. Free school meals for KS2 pupils are available if parents/carers are in receipt of:

• Income Support;
• Income Based Job Seekers Allowance;
• Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
• Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
• Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
• the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
• Letter under Immigration & Asylum Act 1999.
