There is a very high expectation placed on your child to try their best and show the ’Mount Pleasant Way’ at all times. Mistakes will always happen, friendship fallouts are guaranteed but being kind, respectful and tolerant is the minimum requirement for every child in Flaxmill class. If there are any concerns with regards your child in relation to other children, please do keep an open mind at all times as there are always different perspectives — I am always readily available by email for any queries or concerns. PE is due to take place on a Tuesday & Wednesday.

We will be reading in school every day and encourage children to read at home regularly-both independently and with an adult. We are always grateful for your continued support.

Please ensure your child brings a water bottle to school each day.

I'm sure this year will be memorable for the right reasons - I can't wait to get started and help the pupils of Flaxmill with their journey from Y6 to Y7.
