Video Resource Centre

 

We know how much our pupils love hearing stories being read at school so we are developing ways in which we can deliver story time whilst they are at home. Today (24th April) you will be getting log on details to the video resource centre that is under the 'Children' section on the website or the direct link is below. A special video from Mrs Benge is waiting for you and there'll be more to come!

Writing Competition 

  • Writing Competition Inspired by the extraordinary place-names of Shropshire, the University of Nottingham, in collaboration with Shrewsbury-based children's book specialist, Button & Bear, invites the children of the West Midlands to write a short story of no more than 500 words, using one of twelve Shropshire place-names as their inspiration. Place-names are often hundreds of years old, and they tell us all sorts of exciting things about Shropshire's past. So, what will you write about?
