Reception/Year 1 Bubble C

Monday 6th July - Friday 10th July

The children enjoyed making hot air balloons.

A bit of weeding to remove the weeds....
And of course we had to have Bubble Friday!!!!

Monday 29TH June to Friday 3rd July

We went on a Nature Walk to look for minibeasts.

We finished the week with Bubble Friday!

We made rainforest creations in Forest school.

The NHS is celebrating being 72 years old on Sunday. The children have made posters which they will be bringing home so please put them in your windows to wish the NHS a Happy Birthday.

We have been counting in 2s using 2p coins.

We've had a very busy week with lots of fun.We did PE on Wednesday with Crossbar.
We created marble Sea Horses with paint and shaving foam.
We read 'Not a stick' and went into the forest to think what our sticks could be.
We made photo frames with sticks and created a picture using stones, sticks, flowers and leaves inside the photo frame.
We also enjoyed the Friday ritual of blowing bubbles!

The Invisible String

We read the story of The Invisible String which tells us that we are all connected by an invisible string made of love. We then went in to the forest to find pieces of string and made it into one long piece of string to feel connected to everyone in our Hubba Bubba Bubble.

Under the Sea

We talked about the different colours of blue in the sea and then created different shades of blue with paint.

Year 1 Reception/Year 1 Bubble C

Well done to all the children in the Reception/Year 1 Bubble C aka 'The Hubba Bubba Bubble.' They have all settled back into school so well and have adapted really well to the new school routines. Here are a few photos of this week's activities - blowing bubbles, bubble painting and preparing our chocolate play dough for Dough Gym next week.
