• School's Future Status

  The school's governing body have, after much deliberation, decided to apply (in the form of an Academy Order) to join a newly-established MAT (Multi-Academy Trust) in the town. We are really excited at the prospect of joining two fantastic schools - namely Greenfields Primary and Radbrook Primary in this very exciting venture. There will be an information evening coming up in November.

• Y6 Football Success

  Congratulations to the school football team for winning the 'League Kids Cup' sponsored by Shrewsbury Town Football Club. After losing our first game, we showed great determination to then win our two remaining group games and qualify for the final. In a very keenly-contested final, Ashley Edwards (our goalkeeper) was in inspired form and really made the difference. A well-taken, counterattack goal from Tyler Morgan turned out to be the decisive moment. The final finished with Mount Pleasant beating St Georges (Telford) one-nil. We now represent Shrewsbury Town FC at a national tournament at Bradford City's ground. Well done boys.
