  Well done to everyone who took part in the Easter Bonnet competition, we raised £91.35! All the entries were fantastic and it was very hard to choose the winners. Here are the winning bonnets from each class.

  

• Porthill helping to create the balloon for Bookfest Quest

  Porthill have been working hard this week creating this amazing piece of collaborative art work to celebrate Stickman's 10th Birthday!

  They’ve worked hard drawing, painting and adding detail to get it just right.

  Our birthday balloon is part of this years Bookfest Quest on display through Shrewsbury town centre on Saturday 4th May.

  

• Horse riding centre opening

  Several years ago we took part in a sponsored event to raise money for a horse riding centre for disabled riders. This centre was opened yesterday by HRH Princess Anne. Mr Love and three lucky pupils, who had been involved in the fundraising, were able to attend.

  

• Amazing bike skills

  Another fantastic 2 days of cycling, with almost 40 pupils completing their Level 1 Bikeability course.  Well done everyone.

  

• Darwin Class Visit the Age Concern Day Centre

  This afternoon we visited the Day Centre. We told the older people about our chicks and shared some stories. Then we did some Easter craft. We finished by singing some songs and playing some instruments together.
