• Jump In attendance award

  Abbey class won a trip to Jump In this morning as they have won the attendance prize an amazing 8 times this school year! They had a brilliant time!

  

• Bikeability Year 1 and 2

  Year 1 and 2 children enjoyed completing their first Bikeability course. The instructors were very impressed with their positive attitude towards riding a bike safely.

  

• Singing concert

  KS1 and KS2 had a fantastic Sport Day this year. Big well done to all of you for taking part. Well done to Nesscliffe who were the overall winners.

  

• Haughmond Hill

  Abbey class had a lovely day out at Haughmond Hill. We walked and walked and walked! After our picnic lunch we listened to the story of Zog then went on the trail to find him!

• Area Athletics

  Well done to all the children in KS2 who competed in the Area Athletics Competition.  A special mention to George Cowan who won his heat in the Under 10 boys 80m sprint, and then went on to place 2nd in the finals.  Congratulations!!

  

• County School Games

  This year, we had 3 teams from Mount Pleasant representing Shrewsbury at the County School Games, for dodgeball, archery and mini tennis.  All the children performed extremely well, with the dodgeball team placing 3rd and the mini tennis team, winning their pool, and placing 2nd overall.  Fantastic results!
