• U11 Boys Football

  Huge congratulations to the year 6 boys football team who played in the U11 County Plate at the Sports Village last night. They won all three games in their group scoring 10 goals and only conceding one! Well deserved group winners. The team work displayed with magnificent and we could not be prouder. Well done boys, we shall look forward to the next round.

  

• Gabriel's new hair!

  Well done Gabriel!! We are so proud of you for having your hair cut short and kindly donating the hair to 'The Hayley Higginson Foundation' who make wigs for cancer patients.

  As well as donating his hair, he also chose to raise money for our school! With all of your kind donations we have raised an AMAZING £202.05!

  Congratulations to all the children who entered the Autumn Art & Pumpkin competitions. All the entries were incredible and it was very hard to choose the winners. However, we came to a decision in the end and we're sure you'll agree they are very worthy winners. 🎃🍁🎉🎉🎉

  

• Hot Chocolate Thursday

  Well done to our fabulous children who have been selected this week to have hot chocolate and biscuits with Mrs Benge. Some of the reasons this week that these children were chosen are:

  "For always setting an excellent example to her peers. She works hard and has produced some fantastic work."

  "For continuing her learning at home; she has been practicing her reading and numbers at home."

  "For a mature and enthusiastic attitude to her learning - it's a real joy to see."

  Don't forget to bring in all entries, along with the £1 entry fee tomorrow to your child's classroom.

• Gabriel's hair cut for school fund...

  Thank you very much to everyone that has donated so far to support Gabriel in cutting his lovely long hair! Together we have already raised a fantastic £159.90! 

  There is still time to get donating, please go online to www.schoolmoney.co.uk and donate any amount if you can.

  The hair cut will take place on Thursday 24th October, Mandy Havenleigh, a local hairdresser will be coming in to do the honours. The cut hair will then be donated to 'The Hayley Higginson Foundation' who make wigs for cancer patients.

  Hot Chocolate Friday!

  The children today loved their hot chocolate with Mrs Benge, they went above and beyond in their classes and were chosen for this treat.

  Some of the reasons given were:

  "For growing in confidence and showing enthusiasm for her learning."

  "For going above and beyond at home to create a fantastic solar system."

  "For researching a Peruvian footballer and writing a fact sheet all about him."

  "For being super creative with her home learning tasks - she baked a lovely Anglo-Saxon house cake and it was yummy!"

• Gabriel's Hair cut for school fund

  A MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has donated so far to support Gabriel in giving his lovely long hair the chop!

   

  Gabriel had help from a friend to count out the cash donations which we received on parents evening, that amount added with the donations on School Money gives us a total so far of £150.90!!

• Harvest Festival!

  WOW! Everyone has been so kind with their donations for Harvest Festival, we are overwhelmed with the response. The donations have all been taken by Rev. Martin to a local food bank. 

  The school council helped to carry the food outside and to load up the car.
