• Pumpkin Carving Competition

  We had loads of excallent entries to our School Council's Pumpkin Carving Competition.  Well done to all who entered.  There are some extremely creative and ingenious ideas, showing that children have worked hard on the designs. All the entries are on display in the entrance to the Forest School Area. Each class chose a winner - winning pumpkins are on the table-top.

• Girls Football Tournament

  Our year 4, 5 and 6 Girls Football team went to the Sports Village for their first tournament of the year.

  They did really well playing together for the first time as a team. They played four games, drawing the first game 1-1 then unfortunately losing the following three. The girls played every game with so much enthusiasm, passion and most importantly a great big smile of their faces.

  Well done girls!

   

  

• World Food Day

  We have had a very enjoyable day in school today learning about a range of different countries and the foods that originate from them, to celebrate 'Wold Food Day'.  There have been some wonderful aromas wafting through school as everyone has been busy chopping, cooking and preparing delicious food.  Thanks to voluntary contributions from parents and carers, staff were able to shop for ingredients to use.  It was wonderful to see so many adults sharing food at the end of the day.  What a great day! Thank you for your support. 

  

• Havest Festival

  Thank you for the donations for our Harvest Festival.

  Children enjoyed a special assembly with Rev. Mark Salmon to celebrate Harvest, they all took part singing Harvest songs. Your donations have been split between 'The Food Bank' and 'Severn Hospice'.

  We have had a fantastic start to our pgl experience so far! We have been on the zip wire, tunnel trails, abseiling and now the raft challenge begins!
