• Severndale Inclusive Football Tournament

  Ten boys from year 4 and 5 attended a football tournament at the Power League Football Pitches.  They played 6 matches in total, winning 4 of them.  They really pulled together as a team and played wonderfully, placing 4th overall.

  

• KS1 School Games

  Ten girls from Year 2 attended the KS1 School Games at Prerstfelde School.  They all particpated in athletics skills (running, javelin and long jump), parachute and agility skills, basketball and tennis.  The girls had a wonderful day, enjoying all of the sports and their well earnt medal at the end.

  

• School Games - Year 5/6 tri-golf

  Another fantastic afternoon at the school games - this time with the year 5/6 tri golf team.  They played extremely well, and placed 3rd overall.

  

• School Games 2018 - Year 3/4 Tri golf and Arrows Archery Competition

  Children from year 3 and 4 attended the School Games, competing in Tri-golf and Arrows Archery.  They all performed really well, and luckily the rain held off!!

  

• Sundorne Dance Festival

  Children from year 4 and 5 have been working with Miss Frederick from Sundorne Academy on creating a Street dance.  They had the opportunity, along with other local schools to show their routine at the dance festival.  It was a fantastic event and the children all perormed extremely well.

  We have kindly been given a Family Pass (2 adults, 2 children) for the Shropshire Food Festival on 23rd- 24th June.

  We will be giving this away to one lucky supporter of our School Lottery. To enter just buy a ticket for our School Lottery draw on Saturday 16th June. The winner will be announced on Monday 18th June.

  Anyone can register and support us so we would love parents, staff, relatives and members of the local community to join in.

  The lottery is drawn on a weekly basis, with a guaranteed prize for one lucky ticket holder. The more people who buy tickets, the bigger the prize! Ticket holders also get the chance to win £25,000 in a separate draw and other termly prizes. You can buy tickets for £1 each on an 'as and when' basis by debit/credit card or create a direct debit and automatically purchase ticket(s) each week.

  Over the last year you have raised £1,300 for our Forest School, which is amazing! The money has been spent on making the Forest School area safe and accessible for everyone to enjoy, and equipment for lessons.

  Last week, Key Stage 1 were lucky enough to have Oswestry-based company ‘Lindstrand’ visit us and talk about all of the interesting and exciting things they do. We learnt about how hot air balloons are made, and we explored the materials used to make them.
