Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
We have had a fantastic first week back at school after half term and it's already that time of the week again...Hot Chocolate Friday. 10 more children were chosen for having gone above and beyond, some of the reasons this week were:
"For making great progress with her reading and phonics knowledge."
"For his continued positive enthusiasm to all aspects of his learning."
"For amazing home learning, producing an Ancient Greece board game and for having an improved attitude towards his work in school."
"For being a super star on the Year 6 residential - she threw herself into everything with a smile on her face."
Well done and enjoy your weekend!
On Monday 9th March we will be hosting a film night which will run from 3.05pm - 5pm.
We will be showing the film 'Inside Out'.
Tickets will be available to buy online via School Money, we have a limited number of spaces and we will be operating a first come, first served policy. They will be on sale from 4pm Monday 2nd March until 4pm Thursday 5th March, we cannot 'hold' any tickets for anyone as they must be bought through School Money.
Tickets cost £3 per child, this entitles the holder to a chocolate bar, crisps and a drink.
All proceeds raised will go towards buying our new Forest School Shelter.
If you have any issue with getting onto your school money account, please contact the school office before the tickets go on sale so that you can be sent a new link to access your account.
Nursery, Abbey and Darwin all enjoyed sharing stories at their Reading Together afternoon. The Nursery children also enjoyed eating the 'Gruffalo Crumble' that they made this week.
Thank you to all of the parents who came along today.
Happy Friday! More children were chosen today to enjoy hot chocolate with Mrs Benge. These pupils have been selected as they have gone above and beyond, some of the reasons for them being chosen were:
"For a super half term in Severn class. She always tried her best setting a great example for her peers."
"For developing a new and improved attitude towards Maths and Spelling."
"For always having a superb attitude to her learning, constantly trying to improve her work. A polite and caring member of Castle class."
"For always listening to instructions, being kind to others and persevering with difficult tasks."
Well done and have a fantastic half term!
