Girls Football - Shropshire Challenge Cup
The girls under 11 football team took part in the Shropshire Challenge Cup at the Sports Village. We played three games, the first being the most challenging against a strong St. Georges team. The final score was 4-0 to St. Georges but it was an outstanding performance from Anna in goal who prevented the score from going into double figures!
The next game was against Belvidere, the girls battled hard and were unlucky to lose 1-0 in this game. The final game was against a strong Harlescott team, Mount Pleasant came into their own and managed to secure a 0-0 draw. Overall another great trip to the Sports Village with the girls smiling and enjoying throughout.
