Shropshire Primary Schools' Football Champions
Congratulations to Macaulay, Luke, Joe, Sam, Callum, Charlie, Jack and Dylan.
After qualifying for the finals night of the Shropshire Under 11 Schools' Shield, the boys went all the way by coming out on top against all other primary schools in Shropshire, including Telford & Wrekin.
After three 1-0 wins against St. George's, St. Lawrence's and Redhill we then went on to draw 1-1 with St. Giles in the last group game.
In the semi-final, we edged past Grange Park (3-2) thanks to a penalty shoot-out before getting the better of Mereside in a closely contested final.
Jack's amazing winner was enough to see Mount Pleasant secure this shield for the first time ever (at least that's what we think!) and we now progress to the regional finals in March.
