Remembrance

In 2014, one hundred years after the First World War began, every child at MPPS made a commemorative poppy. These have been displayed in our library for the past four years and have been admired by all who have visited.  As this year marks the end of the centenary, we decided that it seemed appropriate to take the poppies down and allow each pupil currently with us to have one to keep. Children will bring theirs home over the next few days.  Please decide on a suitably fitting way to keep this poppy special.

In today's assembly, we leaned about 'remembrance ' and considered all the different people we need to be thankful to.
