Due to the sharp rise in Covid cases, especially in schools, we are recommending a PCR test for anyone connected to our school with symptoms and this includes symptoms that are not the typical covid-19 symptoms e.g. headache, sore throat, runny nose. Please do not send your child to school if they are feeling in any way unwell.
If your child is displaying any of the main COVID symptoms (a high temperature, a new continuous cough or loss of sense of smell/taste) they must self-isolate for 10 days, or until a negative test result has been received.
The rest of the household must also self-isolate for 10 days, or until a negative test result has been received.
Please note that a negative lateral flow test is not sufficient, if anyone has any of the above symptoms a PCR test must be taken.
