Art Morning - Only One You
To celebrate our Darwin Value 'Self-helpability' the whole school joined in with an art morning that helped us consider the importance of mindfulness and positive messages. The project was based on a book called 'Only One You' by Linda Kranz, which encourages the children to think about the message, 'There's only one you in this great big world, make it a better place.'
To match the illustrations in the book, the children designed and painted a fish onto a rock. These will be displayed in the playground.
