A busy first week!
It has been a busy but thoroughly enjoyable week back at Mount Pleasant! As pupils returned on Tuesday, it was nice to see so many enthusiastic faces coming through the doors. As part of our PSHE curriculum we have this week launched our Darwin Value for the half term - which is Changeability. Mrs Benge, with the help of Carlos the Cameleon, talked to pupils about how change can be both exciting and worrying. She talked about how important it is to share worries and how they can be dealt with. After reading 'Silly Billy' by Anthony Browne in which Billy tells his worries to a set of worry dolls, pupils carried this theme into their classrooms this afternoon and made a wonderful array of worry dolls of their own.
