• Comic Relief

  The theme of Comic Relief Red Nose Day this year is helping those who are struggling with a lack of food or homelessness as a result of the cost of living crisis. Everyone wore a red item today and we talked about ‘wants and needs’. In assembly we built a pyramid of needs and learned that if we don’t have what we need to ‘survive’ - food, a home, water, warmth - then it is not possible to ‘thrive’. The children worked with their buddies this afternoon, identifying things that they need rather than things they may want. Great job everyone. Thank you to our fabulous kitchen team for getting involved too.

  

• Cross Country at Attingham Park

  Fantastic determination and resilience was shown again by our Cross Country runners last night at Attingham Park.

  It was a tough course with10 schools competing. 

  Year 4 girls and Year 5 girls placed 3rd overall.

  Well done everyone - we're super proud of you all.

  Reception and KS1 children enjoyed a fantastic dental workshop this week learning all about how important it is to keep their teeth clean.

  Well done to the pupils in Year 5/6 who represented us in the School Games Dodgeball Competition.

  We had two teams: the A team were knocked out in the group stage but went on to win the Mini Plate Tournament, the B team managed to get through to the quarter finals.
